Located between Akumal and Tulum, there is much to see and do during your vacation stay at Villa Dolce Vita. Visit Mayan ruins and eco-parks, experience a cenote, take a jungle adventure, scuba dive the magnificent reefs or go shopping in Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Aventura or Playa Del Carmen. There are two ecological parks where one can go to swim with dolphins, become familiar with the flora and fauna of the region and get a taste of the culture of the area. There’s shopping and other activities in Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Aventura and Playa Del Carmen. If you are a scuba diver there are many dive operators to choose from. Don’t miss the opportunity to dive one of the many cenotes, which are fresh water sinkholes in the jungle with crystal clear water and a myriad of geological formations beneath the surface, such as stalagmites and stalactites. Take a jungle tour on an all-terrain vehicle. There is horseback riding nearby. There are many Mayan archeological ruins to visit in Tulum, Chichenitza, Coba and others. You can charter a boat and go deep-sea fishing. Soliman Bay itself is like an aquarium for snorkeling, functioning like a nursery for a wealth of sea life. Baby turtles and rays are truly fascinating to see. Protected from large swells and surf by an offshore reef, you can comfortably snorkel for long periods of time. Visit the turtle sanctuary and spend some time at Xcacel Beach. Golf at one of two courses a short ride away. Your hosts will be happy to help you arrange for any activity you wish.
